Leonardo da Vinci: The Last Supper and the Codex Atlanticus

Allow you to be speechless in front of the beauty of The Last Supper, the world’s most famous mural painting by Leonardo da Vinci, situated in the Convent of Santa Maria delle Grazie.

The painting dates back to 1499 and delineates the feeling of each apostle when Jesus announced that one of them would betray him: anger and shock in different shades.

The Codex Atlanticus, preserved in the Pinacoteca Ambrosiana, is an extraordinary collection of 1119 sheets, including various subjects: mechanics, astronomy, inventions, sketches, fables, philosophy just to name but a few.

It’s the testament of Leonardo, an incredible visual collection of his exceptional creativity.
